St. Pete Beach
With miles of white sandy beaches, plentiful sunshine and abundance of recreational opportunities, St. Pete Beach is a small barrier island community and popular tourist destination along the Gulf of Mexico in Pinellas County. The city has a total area of 20 square miles although only 2 of those are on land. The beach is the centerpiece of this barrier island city with it being named the No. 1 beach is the US by Trip Advisor in 2021. St. Pete Beach touts inself as the sunset capital of Florida. We love the sandy white beaches and balmy waters at the beach. And this community is just 10 minutes from St. Pete.

St. Pete Beach is also home to the grand Don CeSar resort (pink castle to the locals) and Pass-a-Grille historic district to the southern end of the beach. St. Pete Beach’s downtown is centered on Corey Avenue. This district contains many bars, restaurants and shopping popular with both tourists and locals. Popular restaurants include 1200 Chophouse, Barracuda Deli, Bongo’s Beach Grill, The Frog Pond, Skidder’s Restaurant and Snapper’s Sea Grill.

St. Pete Beach is a member of the Pinellas County Library Cooperative. A branch is located at 365 73rd Ave, St. Pete Beach. Schools are run by the Pinellas County school district.
