Palm Harbor

Located 22 miles north of St. Petersburg, Palm Harbor is best known for championship golfing at Innisbrook Resort & Golf Club.

For a step back in time, stroll down Florida Avenue in historic downtown Palm Harbor, where many historic buildings house unique local shops and restaurants.

Palm Harbor is also known for its festivals including the Citrus Festival in April, the Taste of Palm Harbor in October and First Friday with rides and games for kids, local restaurants offering food and local artists and crafters displaying and selling their wares.

Palm Harbor has various recreational amenities for use by citizens and visitors. The area is home to John Chesnut, Sr. Park and Stansell Park, which overlooks St. Joseph's Sound. The Palm Harbor Community Services District also manages several sport complexes in the community: Steve Putnam Park, Palm Field and Sunderman Recreation Complex. There is also an active community center in Palm Harbor with programs for youths and teens, youth summer camps and community services.

Palm Harbor is home to Innisbrook Resort & Spa. The resort offers four unique courses including the famous Copperhead Course, which hosts the PGA Tour’s annual Valspar Championship.

Golf course

The nearby beaches, part of the Pinellas County park system, are popular for swimming, windsurfing, picnics, boating and watching the beautiful sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico.

Honeymoon Island State Park

The city has its own library, the Palm Harbor library on Nebraska Avenue, and is also part of the Pinellas Public Library Cooperative.
