Bayshore

The Bayshore area features the City of Tampa’s most stately and elegant homes, many with impressive views of the city skyline. Bayshore Boulevard, which borders Tampa Bay, features a 4.5 mile continuous sidewalk for walking, jogging and rollerblading. The Bayshore area has some of Hillsborough County’s most prestigious – and expensive – addresses. The area features stately mansions, townhouses and high-rise condominiums. And for a two weeks a year Bayshore is home to the Gasparilla Pirate Invasion.

Westshore

The Westshore neighborhood is a vibrant, business-centered area on the water of Old Tampa Bay. Westshore features world-class shopping, some of Tampa’s finest restaurants and many retails stores. This area is generally west of Dale Mabry between Kennedy and Spruce/Boy Scout with Interstate 275 crossing through the neighborhood making it convenient to all of the Bay Area. There are many businesses in the area and in fact is Florida’s largest office community with roughly 4,000 businesses with more than 93,000 employees.

Harbour Island

Harbour Island is a small neighborhood across from downtown Tampa between the Sparkman and Seddon Channels close to Tampa Bay. The island neighborhood offers waterfront estates, townhomes and condominiums. Harbour Island offers a unique combination of tropical island living with the convenience of entertainment, business, culture and sporting opportunities of Downtown Tampa, Channelside and Ybor City.

Davis Island

The Davis Islands area combines a small community atmosphere with the convenience of big city living. Davis Islands are two islands located at the mouth of the Hillsborough River. The community is connected to Tampa’s mainland by the Davis Islands and Plant Avenue Bridges. One of Tampa’s most exclusive neighborhoods, the Davis Islands have some of the most extravagant mansions and waterfront homes, as well as condos and single-family homes. While the islands are small in size and population, the Davis Islands Village area offers shopping, restaurants, open green spaces, dog parks, fitness trails and more. The islands are also home to Tampa General Hospital.

Beach Park

Beach Park is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Tampa with magnificent 200 year old oaks and towering palms around the area. Many of the homes are Mediterranean-style, although new homes are now scattered throughout the historic area. Set in the heart of Beach Park is Swann Circle. The site is the heartbeat of a close-knit neighborhood and home to many community events. Beach Park is generally the area south of Kennedy between the Bay and Lois Avenue.

Palma Ceia

Palma Ceia is known as the heart of South Tampa. It is a popular neighborhood among families as well as commuters due to the easy access to interstates and Tampa International Airport. Palma Ceia is located northwest of downtown Tampa between Dale Mabry and the Selmon Expressway.

SoHo / Hyde Park

One of the hippest area of town, Hyde Park and SoHo (south of Howard) are often used interchangeably. The pedestrian-friendly neighborhood is home to Tampa’s trendiest restaurants and shops. Historic bungalows and other charming homes are mixed with newly built condos and townhouses along shaded cobblestone streets. The neighborhood’s established, close-knit community and central-to-everything location makes Hyde Park exceptionally desirable. Hyde Park is generally the area between the Selmon Expressway and Bayshore Blvd. between S Howard and downtown Tampa.
