Located an hour north of Tampa in Hernando County, Brooksville sits in Florida’s Nature Coast. It’s an outdoor lovers paradise with great spots for fishing, kayaking and canoeing. The biggest draw? The Withlacoochee State Forest which has great  hiking and biking trails.

Named Florida's Outstanding Rural Community in 2000, Brooksville is home to many parks and golf courses. Florida has some amazing courses including a few in Brooksville. Some of our favorites are World Woods, Southern Hills and Silverthorn.
