Things to do in Tampa Bay Sept. 2022

It's almost fall! That really doesn't mean much in Florida except maybe a few more hurricane warnings. Seriously, the weather might be less humid in September so enjoy all Tampa Bay has to offer this month.

Football is back

High school, college and pro. The Tampa Bay Bucs kick off their season with Tom Brady behind center in Dallas on Sept. 11. The Bucs first home game is Sept. 25 when they host the Green Bay Packers. The USF Bulls open their season hosting No. 25 BYU on Saturday (Sept. 3) at 4p at Raymond James.

Belly laughs

Comedians Amy Schumer, Kevin Hart and David Spade make stops in Tampa Bay this month. Schumer will be at Seminole Hard Rock Casino Sept. 8; Hart will be at Amalie Arena on Sept. 15; and Spade will be at the Tampa Theatre on Sept. 25.

Music to our ears

A few great musicians are in the area this month: Ringo Starr & All-Starr Band (Sept. 16 at Ruth Eckerd Hall); Rod Stewart with Cheap Trick (Sept. 3 at Amalie Arena); Scorpions with White Snake (Sept. 14 at Amalie Arena); Alice in Chains (Sept. 30 at Mid-Florida Credit Union Ampitheater); Collective Soul (Sept. 14 Ruth Eckerd Hall)
