Dino Rescue

Clearwater Marine Aquarium

Dino Rescue will bring guests up-close to life-size dinosaurs, some as tall as 35 feet and 65 feet long. Guests will encounter the dinosaurs, which move and roar, as they learn about habitat loss and entanglement.

Children’s Gasparilla

Jan. 21, 2023 from Noon-7:30pm

Downtown Tampa along Bayshore Blvd.

One of the largest children’s events in the US, this free event includes an airshow, a preschoolers stroll, a large parade along Bayshore Boulevard with marching bands and floats, a parachute jump show and a fireworks finale.

Gasparilla Pirate Fest

Jan. 28, 2023 from 2-6pm

Downtown Tampa along Bayshore Blvd.

Tampa Bay Black Heritage Festival

This 10-day festival celebration includes cultural enrichment activities, speakers, musicians, artists, a street festival, 5k run and other events that increase awareness of African and African-American culture and history.

MLK Dream Big Weekend

Jan. 14-16, 2023

Featuring the MLK Dream Big Parade, a family fun day, dance competition, big band competition and more. The parade is promoted as the country’s longest-running MLK day parade.
