Savannah Bananas
April 29
George Steinbrenner Field, Tampa
I’ve been waiting months to see what this is all about. The name itself is so intriguing. Baseball gets shaken and stirred with a southern kick. These baseball “players” will entertain us with a circus-like atmosphere where the base coaches dance and players run into the stands to high-five fans when they hit a homerun. They even have a senior citizen dance team. And best of all, you never know when they might launch into a choreographed routine. Tickets are $25.
