Team TLC leader Lisa Carroll is taking you on a tour of her favorite things to do in Safety Harbor. First of our favorite things to do in Safety Harbor is Philippe Park. Lisa loves the walking trails and the tranquility of the Indian Mound, small private beachside picnic areas, the exercise opportunities, including climbing stairs and the Indian Mound, and the amazing beautiful old trees. The park is named after Count Odet Philippe, who is credited with introducing grapefruit to Florida. It is situated on 122 acres. Philippe is buried in the park but the exact location is undetermined. The Tocobaga Indian mound that is situated in the park is a National Historic Landmark known as the Safety Harbor Site. The temple mound is one of the last remnants of the Tocobaga on the Pinellas Peninsula.

Second on our list of favorite things to do in Safety Harbor is the Safety Harbor Resort & Spa. Lisa enjoys annual get-a-ways there with the girls where they enjoy being pampered with lovely spa treatments, beautiful rooms and a poolside tiki hut bar with great food and drinks!

Third on our list of favorite things to do in Safety Harbor is visiting Main Street and its many wonderful shops and eateries! So many good ones and beautiful sights along the way.
