Family friendly New Year’s Eve events
Noon Year’s Eve @ Amature Works
Dec. 31 from 10a-1p
No need to stay up past your bedtime. Celebrate early at this outdoor event at Amature Works. The event features daytime fireworks, live music, kid’s activities, and a bubble and magic show. Capacity is limited and tickets must be pre-purchased. Masks required. Tickets for 1 adult and 1 child are $22. Additional adults and children $10 each. VIP tickets also available. A portion of ticket sales goes to Feeding Tampa Bay.
Downtown Countdown @ Glazer Children’s Museum
Dec. 31 from 10a-3p
Countdowns, family play projects and socially-distant celebrations throughout the day. Downtown Countdown is included with museum admission. Reservations required.
Morris’ New Year’s Eve Celebration at Great Explorations Children’s Museum
Dec. 31 from 9a-5p
Ring in 2021 a little early with a balloon drop, dance party and other themed activities during three different time slots: 9-11 am, 12-2 pm, and 3-5 pm. This is a ticketed event, so you’ll need to book in advance. Face masks are required for guests 18 and older and strongly recommended for kids 5 years old and older.
New Year’s Eve events for adults
Riverfront concert & Fireworks @ Amature Works
Outdoor riverfront concert and fireworks. Tickets and masks required. Food and beverages available for purchase. Tickets are $20 per person.
Dec. 31 from 9a-5p or 6p-1a
Ring in 2021 with music, fireworks, animals and thrill rides! In order to manage capacity and maintain physical distancing, New Year’s Eve will have two reservation sessions: 9a-5p or 6p-1a. Evening events includes millions of lights, Three Kings Journey show and more. Christmas on Ice followed by Spark the Night Fireworks Show (separate reservation required for show and fireworks viewing) at 8:30p and 11:30p. Admission to the New Year’s Eve Celebration night event is included with paid admission to Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. Separate purchase required for reserved fireworks field viewing.
Pirate Water Taxi Fireworks Cruise
Dec. 31 at 11:15p
Ring in the New Year on the water with a front row seat on the New Year’s Eve Fireworks Cruise! This 1-hour cruise includes a champagne toast, party favors and prime viewing of Downtown Tampa’s fireworks. All ages welcome, but you must be 21+ with valid ID to drink. Book your tickets in advance to ensure availability! Tickets are $49.95 for adults and $39.95 for kids.
Yacht Starship New Year’s Eve Cruise
Dec. 31 from 10p-1a
Say “Bon Voyage” to 2020 on a New Year’s Eve Celebration Cruise! This festive cruise is the best way to celebrate NYE on the water. Fireworks subject to city and current guidelines due to COVID-19. Dine on gourmet food and drinks while dancing under the stars. Cruises also include a champagne toast at midnight! Two opportunities from leaving from Tampa and Clearwater. Tickets are $149.95 plus fees.
