Monthly markets in Tampa Bay
It's our favorite season in Florida: outdoor season. True Floridians know we don't enjoy the outdoors between May and September because of heat, humidity and bugs. Thus this is our time to enjoy our slice of paradise.
While there is always something fun and unique to do in Tampa Bay, there are also events that recur monthly. Many of these are farmers markets and street festivals. Take a look at some of our favorites around Tampa Bay.
When: 4th Friday monthly beginning at 5pm.
Where: Downtown Tampa
Whether it’s live music, cultural exhibits or unique downtown cocktails, the downtown Tampa arts & culture venues have an exclusive program with new offerings every month. Pickup your free lanyard at The Straz (near SIP) between 5-7:30pm and then explore all downtown Tampa has to offer. There’s live local music, free admission to selected museums and food and drink specials with your FREE lanyard.
When: 2nd Saturday monthly from 10a-2p
Where: Carrollwood Cultural Center, 4537 Lowell Road
Food trucks, live music, crafts for kids, fresh flowers and produce, and so much more.
When: 2nd Sunday monthly from 12p-4p
Where: 6111 N Central Ave
The Seminole Heights neighborhood’s local farmers market is full of fresh local produce, craft items, tasty desserts and drinks, and more.
When: 3rd Sunday monthly from 10a-2p (October through May)
Where: Water Street, downtown Tampa
50+ local food and wellness-focused vendors with an array of fresh, local, homemade, handcrafted, fair-trade, vintage or eco-friendly products. There is also live music, entertainment and public art to enjoy.
When: Every Saturday from 9a-3p (9a-1p in the summer)
Where: Centennial Park, Ybor City
Ybor City Saturday Market is the largest continually operating outdoor market in the Tampa Bay Area. Centered in Tampa’s Historic District, the market is one of the most popular shopping destinations for locally produced items unique to the Tampa Bay Area. Vendors sell produce, food, coffee, jerky, art, jewelry, plants, flowers, soaps, candles and more.
When: 4th Saturday monthly from 10a-2p
Where: 3659 Midtown Drive
Shop with local vendors who will sell local produce, food, baked goods, art, jewelry and more. Live music kicks off at 10a on the green. Event is dog friendly.
When: 1st Wednesday monthly from 11a-2p
Where: Lykes Gaslight Square Park
Grab lunch and enjoy your meal at one of the tables around the park. Food trucks vary monthly.
When: 4th Sunday monthly from 11a-3p
Where: Westshore Marina District (intersection of Gandy Blvd and Westshore Blvd)
This market features 70+ local vendors selling plants, produce, food, baked goods, art, jewelry, clothing and more. Live music kicks off at 11am. Family, dog and bike friendly.
When: 2nd Saturday monthly from 10a-3p (closed July and August)
Where: 9520 W Linebaugh Avenue
Shop plants, baked goods, flowers, clothing, handmade jewelry, homemade sauces, pet treats, home decor and more at the Westchase Town Center.
When: 1st Sunday monthly from 10a-3p
Where: 1602 W Snow Avenue
The market features more than 80 local vendors selling produce, handcrafted goods, plants and more. While you shop and stroll, enjoy live music by Gasparilla Music in Village Circle. This event is pet-friendly.
When: 2nd Sunday monthly from 11a-3p
Where: 1910 N Ola Avenue
Featuring a rotating cast of local artists and makers selling handmade goods, jewelry, art, wood-work, gifts and more in the Gathering space at Armature Works.
When: 2nd Saturday monthly, 5-9 p.m.
Where: 2955 Central Ave. in St. Pete
St. Pete’s art districts come together as one arts destination with many venues hosting the opening night of their latest exhibit. A branded white trolley will also be moving art enthusiasts around to over 40 ArtWalk venues from 5 - 9pm. There is only one trolley so wait times can be long.
When: 3rd Friday monthly from 6-10pm
Where: Main Street, Safety Harbor
Safety Harbor closes down Main Street with live music, arts & crafts vendor, food vendors and street entertainment plus shopping, dining and more. There are different musical themes each month from jazz to calypso and everything in between. Most restaurants and shops on Main Street stay open late for this event.
When: Sundays monthly from 9a-1p (June-October); 10a-2p the rest of the year
Where: Corey Avenue between Boca Ciega Avenue and Gulf Boulevard in St. Pete Beach
More than 80 vendors gather along Corey Avenue on St. Pete Beach to sell the best coffee, organic fruit and veggies, pastries, local crafts, live music and more.
When: 1st and 3rd Saturday monthly from 10a-2p
Where: 28211 Paseo Dr, Wesley Chapel
Shop for fresh produce, hand crafts, handmade candles, natural soaps, sauces, fresh bread, art work, furniture, jewelry and lunch bites.
When: Tuesdays from 10a-1p
Where: New Port Richey Public Library, 5939 Main Street, New Port Richey
Organic produce, breads, treats and artisan creations are for sale.
