With St. Patrick’s Day just around the corner, are you looking for the best Irish pubs in Tampa? We’ve got you covered! Next time you want a cold one with a Rueben or Shepherd’s Pie, make a stop at one of these 7 local pubs.
Molly Malones Irish Pub, New Port Richey
Molly Malone’s is setting up a huge outdoor tent for the St. Patrick’s celebration. Live entertainment, bagpipers and traditional food including corned beef and cabbage, fried fish, corned beef on rye, bangers and mash and Shepherd's Pie. They even have a Kegs & Eggs event beginning at 7am.
Four Green Fields, Tampa
Right next to Curtis Hixon Park, Four Green Fields is America’s only thatched roof Irish pub. And right in the heart of Tampa. It's a great place to grab a bite and a pint after a walk along the Riverwalk. Our favorites are corned beef Reuben rolls and Shepherd skins – a Shepherd’s Pie in a potato skin.
O’Keefes Tavern, Clearwater
A local tradition since 1961, O’Keefes will have live bands, bagpipers, Irish dancers and more on the 17th. And classic foods like corned beef & cabbage and, our favorite, Guiness Meatloaf.
O’Briens, Brandon
Brandon’s largest St. Patrick’s Day party is at O’Briens. Live music, sports, our favorite Irish dishes and more than 60 beers on tap. It's a happening spot to wear your green on Thursday.
Maloney’s, Tampa
Several Tampa locations and they are gearing up for a big shindig on the 17th. Green beer, live music and authentic Irish fare. Locations in Westchase, Carrollwood and downtown Tampa.
O’Maddy’s Bar & Grille, Gulfport
Waterfront, outdoor dining with fresh Gulf seafood as well as traditional Irish fare including Fish & Chips and Ruebens. And live music Thursday through Sunday. We love the outdoor dining area in the shade!
Mary Margaret’s Olde Irish Pub, St. Pete
Another authentic Irish tavern with a unique spin. Reuben egg rolls, Irish Soda Bread, Bangers & Mash and more. We're partial to the vegan Shepherd’s Pie (they have a traditional option as well).
