Florida Strawberry Festival 2021
As the saying goes, the show must go on!
The Florida Strawberry Festival is opening its gates March 4 through March 14 to celebrate all things strawberry at the Fairgrounds in Plant City. Get ready for strawberry shortcake, strawberry pie, strawberry milkshakes, strawberry tacos, strawberry pizza and more!
Guests come from near and far to enjoy strawberry treats, agriculture exhibits, livestock shows, fine arts, horticulture and crafts.
And what is a festival without a giant midway for all ages. With more than 80 rides there is something for everyone including the Kiddie Korral with pint-size rides for little ones.
You’ll notice a few differences this year due to the pandemic. Wearing a mask within the festival grounds is strongly recommended and is required in buildings and enclosed tents. Food and entertainment seating will be spread out to allow for social distancing. As always check the festival Web site for the latest news and guidelines.
Entertainment will be on a smaller scale this year without the headliner concerts. But there will still be daily concerts and livestock events. For a daily schedule of events here.
The Neighborhood Village, on the east side of the festival grounds, is dedicated to the homemade and handcrafted items created by our community residents. There are items for sale and contests for cake decorating, baking, jewelry making, needlework, clothing and more.
Tickets at the gate are $10 adults, $5 children (age 6-12) and free for 5 and under. Discounted presale tickets are available at select Publix stores.
