Coachman Park in Clearwater

The all-new Coachman Park, located in the heart of downtown Clearwater, recently reopened after a massive renovation. Clearwater spent $84 million to transform the waterfront and connect it with the downtown area. The new park is spectacular. And our favorite spot: The Sound, a music venue.

Outdoor concert

Located next to the Clearwater Main Library and Clearwater Harbor Marina, Coachman Park is a stunning outdoor destination that offers something for everyone. The 19-acre park boasts green spaces, a state-of-the-art music venue, a waterfront walkway with views of the Memorial Causeway bridge, a playground, a splash pad, a lake, shaded seatings, restrooms, public art, gardens and more.

Splash pad

The centerpiece of the new Coachman Park is the 9,000-capacity covered outdoor performing arts venue, The Sound. This state-of-the-art amphitheater has both covered seating and open space on The Lawn with exceptional views of the waterfront. Whether you're sitting front and center or perched higher up on the lawn, you'll be able to soak in every moment of the show.

Coachman Park The Sound

The Sound has a great upcoming schedule including the Goo Goo Dolls, Kenny Loggins, Ringo Starr, Chicago, the Clearwater Jazz Festival and more. Check out the lineup here

Playground

The Lake at Coachman Park is a bustling hub of activity and a nice place to sit and relax. Nearby, a pirate-themed playground, with two climbing structures, slides and a catwalk, will keep the kids occupied for hours. And if you are looking to cool off from the Florida heat, the year-round splash pad has four fountains to keep the kids cool and entertained.

Another of our favorite spots at the new Coachman Park is The Green. This spacious four-acre grassy open space is perfect for a picnic, frisbee, yoga and more.
