Have you noticed Hillsborough County has created or updated several of it’s parks recently? We stopped by the new Carrollwood Village Park, a $10 million project to develop the former Dale Mabry Wastewater Treatment Plant into a community park.
The park is amazing! There is lots of parking, more than a dozen shaded picnic tables spread out around the park as well as an amphitheater/lawn for events.
The park has fitness classes, fishing competitions, Village Games and more.
Among the beautiful amenities at the park are a skatepark, dog park, playground, splash pad, picnic shelters, walking trails and outdoor fitness equipment.
The park provides fun for the whole family and appeals to any age range!
