4th of July in Tampa Bay
The 4th of July is just around the corner and we are ready to celebrate our great nation. Here are a few things to do around the Tampa Bay area for the 4th of July.
Hillborough County
July 4th Boat Parade: July 4th (4 pm) — Tampa Riverwalk
The parade begins around the Convention Center, travels down the Hillsborough River to the Heights (Amature Works) and ends at Sparkman Wharf. Public viewing locations include: Armature Works, Sparkman Wharf, Tampa Convention Center, Curtis Hixon Park, Davis Island, Harbour Island and Water Works Park. The boat parade will be followed by fireworks displays at multiple locations.

Star-Spangled Sparkman: July 4th (3:30pm) — Sparkman Wharf
Sparkman Wharf is turning into the ultimate Retro Summer Party with views of the City of Tampa fireworks show (at 9pm)! Event includes a limbo contest, water ski show, live band and games. The event is free and open to the public but space is limited and guests will be turned away once capacity is reached. No blankets or seating, outside food or beverages, fireworks or pets allowed.

All American BBQ Festival: July 3rd (3-10pm) - Pepin Hospitality Center
Enjoy a BBQ extravaganza with more than 10 of the best BBQ vendors in the Tampa Bay area. There will be cocktails, beer and wine along with dancing, games, live music and of course food. Guests will be able to vote for your favorite BBQ place along with celebrity judges. Ticketed event.

4th of July Yacht Cruise: July 4th (6-9:30pm) — Channelside, Tampa
Celebrate the stars and stripes on the water with a 4th of July cruise! There are three different cruise options that allow you to enjoy a meal, drinks from an open bar and dance on the top deck with a fireworks finale. Dress code is resort casual, or American pride.

Spark! A Nighttime Spectacular at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay
Busch Gardens has launched a brand new nighttime fireworks show called “Spark!” which you can see nightly through August 8. Plus, enjoy roller coasters, rides, shows and more during extended nighttime hours as part of Summer Nights. This celebration is included with your daily park admission or pass.

Zephyrhills Summer Fest: July 4th (12-9pm) — Zephyrhills Cinema 10
Summer Fest is a fun event with games, live music, a watermelon eating contest and Tampa Bay food trucks! There will also be a vendor market with hand-made items from local crafters. There will also be waterslides and bounce houses run by local charities.

Independence Day Festival at Grove at Wesley Chapel: July 4th (11-9pm) — The Grove
The Independence Day Festival will feature live music, craft vendors, food trucks, inflatables, games, axe throwing and more! There will also be a fireworks display at 8:30 pm.

Pinellas County
4th of July Picnic & Fireworks: July 4th (10am-2pm and 8:30 pm) — Tarpon Springs
The City of Tarpon Springs will host old-fashioned picnic at Craig Park featuring hot dogs, a water slide, inflatables and lawn games. In the evening they will have a Fourth of July fireworks display. The best viewing spots include Howard Park Beach and the Howard Park Causeway in Tarpon Springs.

Fireworks Across the Bay Celebration: July 2-4th (Times vary) — St. Pete Pier
The inaugural “The Fourth” Independence Day celebration at St. Pete Pier. This 3-day event is filled with fun activities for all, including the inaugural St. Pete Pier Run, a craft beer garden, food trucks, pie eating contest, movie on the lawn, live music, roaming entertainers and more. Fireworks show on July 4th at 9pm.

Largo 4th of July Celebration: July 4th (8 pm) — Largo Central Park
Fireworks show along with food and beverage vendors for this event. Parking is limited ($10). No fireworks, alcohol or pets allowed.
Treasure Island 4th of July Fireworks: July 4th (9pm)
Treasure Island will shine with a fireworks show on the beach! Off-site parking will be offered at Treasure Island Park for $20 a vehicle.
4th of July Celebration Safety Harbor City Marina: July 4th (5-9pm) — Safety Harbor Pier
Event features children's activities, live entertainment, food vendors and a fireworks show. Best viewing at the Marina or Waterfront Park.

4th of July Parade: July 4th, 10-12 pm - Safety Harbor Chamber of Commerce, 200 Main St, Safety Harbor
The American Legion Auxiliary will host a patriotic parade down Main Street on July 4th.
